Melissa Delgado, MD, FACOG is a board-certified OB/GYN and certified practitioner in Personalized Medicine. As the founder of Elevate Wellness, Dr. Delgado has built a pioneering, heart-centered women’s health practice that blends the best of advanced medical science with integrative, soulful care.
With more than two decades of experience, Dr. Delgado is recognized for her deep expertise in endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, perimenopause and menopause, and integrative gynecology. She specializes in complex, minimally invasive surgery—particularly robotic excision of endometriosis—and is known for her meticulous technique, compassionate presence, and unwavering advocacy for women whose symptoms have been misunderstood or dismissed.
Her approach is grounded in personalized, precision-driven medicine: understanding each woman’s unique biology, lived experience, and long-term goals to create truly individualized care plans. Whether guiding a patient through midlife hormone transitions, uncovering the root cause of pelvic pain, or designing an integrative path to whole-body healing, Dr. Delgado’s work centers on one mission—helping women feel deeply seen, profoundly supported, and fully empowered in their health.

Lois L. Collins, MSN, RN is the Chief Operating and Experience Officer at Elevate Wellness, where she leads the practice’s operations, patient experience, strategic growth, and clinical systems development. With more than 25 years of healthcare leadership experience and a foundation as a registered nurse, Lois brings a unique combination of clinical expertise, operational excellence, and systems thinking to the Elevate Wellness team.
Throughout her career, Lois has led high-performing teams in complex healthcare environments, including Level One trauma care, where she developed a reputation for building strong systems, driving innovation, and creating exceptional patient-centered experiences. Her ability to connect clinical care, operations, and strategy allows her to help shape a practice experience that feels both deeply personal and highly intentional.
At Elevate Wellness, Lois is passionate about redefining how women experience healthcare. She believes exceptional care extends far beyond the exam room and is reflected in every interaction, process, and touchpoint throughout the patient journey. Her leadership helps ensure that patients feel welcomed, heard, supported, and cared for in an environment designed to elevate both wellness and experience.
Known for her collaborative leadership style and thoughtful approach to problem-solving, Lois focuses on building strong teams, creating operational excellence, and supporting a culture centered on compassion, accountability, and innovation.
Lois’s academic background spans Political Science, Nursing, and Systems Engineering, reflecting her interdisciplinary approach to healthcare leadership and transformation.
Outside of work, Lois has been married to her husband James, a retired U.S. Marine Corps officer, for 29 years. Together they have raised two daughters, Emily and Holly, who continue to inspire her commitment to service, leadership, and family.
Sara Ashton Garcia, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Sara Ashton Garcia, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Elevate Wellness, where she brings a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to women’s health, wellness, and integrative care. With nearly two decades of experience across emergency medicine, urgent care, leadership, and health coaching, Sara is known for her ability to combine clinical excellence with compassionate, relationship-driven care.
Throughout her career, Sara has cared for patients in some of the region’s most complex healthcare environments, including Level One trauma centers, academic medical centers, and high-volume emergency departments. Her experience spans direct patient care, operational leadership, team development, and patient education, giving her a uniquely comprehensive perspective on healthcare delivery and wellness optimization.
In addition to her emergency medicine background, Sara has extensive experience in integrative wellness, hormone health, medical weight management, and lifestyle-focused care. She is passionate about helping patients better understand their bodies and empowering them to take an active role in their health through education, personalized treatment plans, and sustainable wellness strategies.
Sara’s leadership experience includes managing and mentoring large multidisciplinary teams, participating in departmental strategy and quality initiatives, and supporting clinical education in academic healthcare settings. Her collaborative approach, calm presence, and commitment to excellence make her a trusted provider and advocate for her patients and colleagues alike.
Her academic background includes a Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from George Mason University, where she graduated magna cum laude.
Outside of clinical practice, Sara has participated in numerous medical mission and volunteer efforts both locally and internationally, reflecting her deep commitment to service, community, and whole-person care. Her personal interests include horseback riding, skiing, travel, and reading.
